Community involvement

We are very proud to support and be a part of the Canberra community. We actively support a range of charities and community programs, and have a lot of fun along the way!

The Camp Quality esCarpade is a major annual rally event that raises awareness and funds for children up to the age of 13 whose lives have been impacted by cancer.

OPC is part of a team of Canberra cars known as the SuperHeroes ACT. We’ve been participating in the esCarpade for over 8 years. Last year, our team raised over $90,000 for this great cause – contributing to the total $1,325,171.76 the event raised.

In our 1993 Holden VR Club Sport V8 called Jarvis, we travel through regional towns along routes of more than 3,000kms. Fuelled by fun and challenges, we stop at towns and schools to deliver Camp Quality’s message that 'laughter is the best medicine'!

SuperHeroes ACT also participate in a number of other fundraising activities for Camp Quality. This includes organising and hosting movie nights, comedy nights, and the annual Classic Cruise, being held on Sunday 8 September.

Ronald McDonald House Charities

We are a ‘Room Partner’ at Ronald McDonald House – a home away from home for families of seriously ill babies and children.

We also host ‘Meals from the Heart’ each year, which involves our staff cooking for the families who are staying in the house.

We're a proud Friend and supporter of the Domestic Violence Crisis Service (DVCS).

DVCS provides 24/7 crisis intervention, legal support and advocacy programs for women and children (Staying@Home), men (Room4Change), and young people. They also offer support groups, safety planning, training and a range of other important services.

Other special events we support

Canberra Special Children's Christmas Party

This charity provides over 1,600 children with terminal illness or physical or intellectual disability with a day they'll never forget.

Lion's Club World Festival of Magic and Circus Quirkus

We purchase tickets to these events and donate them to children from local special education units, disability services, welfare organisations and local charities. These events offer relief for children who experience significant difficulties in their lives.
